ARREGI En Angiozar (Elgeta), barrio de Muskaola (Mondragon), Elgoibar,
Astgarreta, Azkoitia, Oiartzun y beasain (Todo en gipuzkoa). En el valle de
Arratia (en Bizkaia). En el Ronkal, Alli y Azpiroz (larraun) y Peralta
(todo en Nabarra); en Anisa (benabarra), En Muxika y Aramaiona (Araba). En
estos sitios hay casas Arregi
Significado: ARRI quiere decir piedra, y la terminacion EGI: significa
lugar, asi que el significado seria algo asi como pedregal.
Escudo de los Arregi del Ronkal: En azur, un puente de oro de tres arcos;
bajo la arcada central tres rocas de plata, y en el jefe una cabeza de rey
moro chorreando sangre (esto es el escudo del Roncal).

My surname is Arregi, I live in Arratia Valley in the village called Zeanuri. I think, We are the only ones in my village with this surname (it´s a little village and we are like a family). My father is from Donostia-San sebastian and his father from Iruña-Pamplona. We are quite original mixture! I am from Bizkaia, my father from Gipuzkoa and my grand father from Nafarroa. A beautiful surname don´t you think so?
