ARIZTEGI (Aristegui) The meaning is ARITZ (oak tree), TEGI (Place), so it
is clear that means, the (house) in the place of the oaks
There are houses with this name in Onate (neiborhood of Urrexola),and in
Regil (2 houses), branches in Legazpia,and Ordizia all in Gipuzkoa, also a
branch in Chili. There is also other house Aristegi in Garzain, Baztan
Valley in Navarre
Is documented in Onate since 1489, a Knight of Santiago in 1765, two proves
of nobility in the Royal Court of Valladolid in 1784 and 1815
Coat of the primitive house in Urrexola: En plata, un roble de sinople,
terrasado de lo mismo.

je m'appelle ariztegui de nom et si un autre ariztegui d'amerique chercherait a retrouver ses ancetres ( car j'ai fait des recherches généalogiques) ou autre qu'il m'envoit un e-mail.
Mes recherches généalogiques remontent jusqu'à la fin du 17° siècle et si quelqu'un en a de plus anciennes ou sait une quelquonque histoire sur le nom "ariztegui" qu'il me les envoies svp. Merci |
