Pig's Feet

Sauce:
1 cup each chopped onion, chopped green pepper
4-5 Or more :) cloves of garlic chopped or pressed
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 large can tomotoes
2 cans tomato paste
2 cans grren peeled chilis
salt to taste
Heat oil in large frypan. Saute onions, green peppers, garlic till tender.
Puree (sp?)
tomatoes, paste and chilis in blender. Pour into fry pan with onions etc.
Simmer slowly for about 1 !/2 hours stirring occasionally.
Pigsfeet
Cut 4 pigsfeet in thirds and boil till tender (~2 hours) Mix equal parts of
sauce and liquid in which pigsfeet were cooked, pour over pigs feet and simmer
~1 hour. You may need to thicken the sauce serving.
I use the sauce recipe for other dishes as well.
