Beans a la Vizcaina, simple version

From La Cocina Vasca by Ana Maria Calera, posted on the net by Donald Martinich

(I had a little trouble with this translation. The cooking times indicated that beans fresh out of the shell should be used but I am not sure. One could precook old beans and get good results.)

500g fresh red beans
1 onion diced
oil
50g of salt pork in one piece
2 chorizos
water
salt

Add all ingredients with enough water to make a thick soup. As the beans are fresh it could cook in as little as 20-30 minutes
