Unfortunately, I'm not very fluent in Basque (actually, I can't do more than get the very basic idea of simple phrases), so if it wouldn't be a problem for you, could you send your messages in English or Spanish? Or, even better, if you could send them in Basque with a translation into English or Spanish, that would be great. Thanks.

Some notes...

Some of the messages I've been getting have had incomplete addresses with them. I try to answer all messages, but have trouble with those. Please make sure you have your email address correct. Thanks.
If you are interested in a Surname, we have had to discontinue the effort we had to help people research them. If we can continue our surname research service in the future, we will definitely do so and make an announcement on the page. Until then, check out the basque-genealogy forum at Yahoo! Groups.
I appreciate all of the comments I get, but I don't have time to do research for others. If you are looking for specific information, please check the page and your local library first. If possible, post to either the soc.culture.basque newsgroup or the basque-l mailing list. I would love to help everyone as much as I can, but I just don't have the time. I hope everyone understands.

Amazon.com has just started a method which allows visitors to a page to donate money to the webmaster. This would involve an icon somewhere for you to click, at which point you would be taken to Amazon.com where you would tell how much you would like to donate. Do you think this is a good idea for Buber's Basque Page and would you use it?
I would indeed make a donation through such a system.
I think having this would be fine, but I wouldn't likely use it.
I think that this would ruin the spirit of Buber's Basque Page and would never use it.
