The Padron pepper is a small green pepper from Galicia, that you fry briskly in olive oil, salt, and eat as tapas. Every now and then one of them is quite hot, keep your cold beer to hand. The Espeletako Gorria is a red hot pepper from the village of Espelette in the Pays Basque. The seed and the pepper are unavailable outside the village, except from Talon de Gato Farm. Use fresh, or dried and ground, for authentic Basque flavor. Plant out in full sun after your last frost.

Aquamarine, March's birthstone, is considered a symbol of courage and everlasting youth while Pearls, the birthstone of June, are the world's oldest known gems, believed to promote prosperity and long life. According to Arabic legend, pearls form when dewdrops fill with moonlight and fall into the ocean.
